Description

Fregola or sometimes known as “Giant Couscous” is a real treat and a surprising source of inspiration. It’s essentially pasta but presented in small little balls, hence the reference to giant couscous. Our Fregola is organically grown on the island of Sardinia in Italy by an independent family farm. Their heritage for growing and producing pasta runs deep and you can really taste it too. They use an ancient variety of Durum Wheat, resulting in a cleaner pasta that we find produces more enriched levels of carb endorphins to last you into the night 🙂

Enjoy Fregola as you would any pasta, whether as backdrop to a pesto, pasta sauce or to simply to add some carbelicious content to a salad – This amazing Fregola wont let you down.

To Cook:

Just like any white pasta, bring to the boil in a pot with enough water to cover and bring down to a gentle simmer.

Add some salt (optional) and simmer down for anywhere between 7 to 10 mins.
